I cannot believe it but Harry is already one month old. We went to the doctor for a checkup this morning and he is thriving. Everything checked out perfect and he was a good little boy for the doctor not really fussing at all.
Here are his stats...
Weight: 10 pounds 8 ounces (75th percentile)
Length: 22 1/4 inches (75th percentile)
Head: 15 1/2 inches (75th percentile)
I know that I haven't been keeping up with my blogging but I have a couple excuses.
1. It has continued being very cold here and we haven't been going anywhere or doing much so there hasn't been much to blog.
2. Juggling four kids leaves me a little pressed for extra time.
3. We had painters here Monday-Thursday last week fixing cracks in our plaster walls, repainting and stripping wall paper. It put me slightly out of commission. I am finally getting our lives back in order. These pictures can only start to show you how out of order we were all week long.
4. I started Weight Watchers on Saturday so I have been spending more time preparing healthy food instead of throwing any old thing together or going out to eat. Can you believe that I have lost 32 pounds in the last month? I know 8 pounds was Harry but it still sounds good. I still have almost 60 pounds to get to my lifetime goal weight. I have made it to my lifetime goal weight twice...once when we got married, and again after Kasey was born. Let's hope that once I get there this time, it will be for good.
5. I have made a point to go to bed no later than 10pm so that I can get as much sleep as possible. Harry still gets up 3-4 times at night.
6. Our laundry seems to multiply the minute it goes down the chute.
We've been having fun though. It is fun having a new baby in the mix and he is so sweet. He is a calm little boy for the most part. He would sleep in the sling all day if I let him. He is starting to get a little more alert having definite awake periods and then taking longer naps. Time flies when you are having fun.
Also, here is a very short video of Kelly from this weekend. We all went to Dave and Buster's for lunch and to play games. The girls all had fun and Kelly liked the dance game.

Little Harry is so sweet and that video of Kelly is so cute. I know how busy you can get but just take a little time for yourself. I like the color of your kitchen. Did you paint other rooms also. Love granny
Love the new kitchen color also - it looks great - I think it's absolutely amazing that you can manage that many kids, have the house painted, doing the weight watcher thing and planning healthier meals and still knee deep in planning a baby shower for a girlfriend and 25 others at your house at the end of March - I marvel at how you even can keep up with laundry, school papers, homework and older kid activities without loosing it. Absolutely amazing and you are doing a great job. I'm VERY proud of you!
Carrie...you really must team me your "supermom" techniques! Congrats on the fantabulous weight-loss and before you know it you'll be down to your goal weight! And love the video of Kelly dancing...what a cutie! Happy 1 month b-day, Harry!
