We celebrated her seventh birthday nearly all weekend long and were wiped out by the time it was all over. On Saturday night, she had four of her closest friends over. We got a couple of Little Caesar's pizzas and ventured out to the waterfall park near our house. We all sat at a picnic table and had dinner together. After that, we ventured down the path and let all of the kids put their feet in the water...definitely the highlight of the trip. Kasey was soaked head to toe in a matter of minutes as she isn't so swift on her feet(she is clumsy just like I am!)
We all came home after that and the girls all slept over. I had to bust the party up around 11pm and tell them all to go to sleep. I felt like my mother. I made pancakes and sausage for everybody in the morning and then we were off to the big mall by our house. Kylie requested to have her birthday party at a place called Libby Lu. They do "makeovers" for little girls. The girls had such a good time with one of them proclaiming that "this is the best day of my whole life."
After the makeovers, we came back home and all of Kylie's friends got picked up. We had only a couple of hours before my family was coming over for another party for Kylie and her cousin Emerson. Kylie received a brand new bike from my mom and she has been riding it ever since.
The next day was her actual birthday and Jonathan told her that she could pick anywhere she wanted to go out to eat and he would meet us for lunch. Like usual, she pick the Rain Forest Cafe. We had a nice lunch together and she ordered the chocolate volcano dessert and the staff sang her Happy Birthday making it the fifth time in three days. A little overkill never killed anybody.

What a wonderful birthday. I'm sure it will be a great memory she will remember all her life. I can remember my 7th birthday, I got a pair of clip on roller skates which I thought was the greatest present in the whole world. Love you all.
Had so much fun with both of the girl's birthday this last weekend! Sounds like a great birthday to me with lots of fun with her friends and family.
