We weren't quite sure what to expect but once we got there, we had a ball! We got there right at the last minute and somehow got a spot right along the line where Vanessa was going to be walking out any minute. The girls were all so excited to be so close that we could actually see her. She walked right past us and waved right at the girls. She is much shorter in person than she looks in the movies and the girls couldn't get over that.
Here there are waiting for her to walk out.
This is the best photo I could get of her. The security guards were not letting me get a very good shot!
After that, she talked a bit about back to school time at Office Max and then she unveiled the penny tray. The tray had 2 million penny's($20,000) and 100 of them were painted white. All the kids got time in the penny tray to fill up a large cup of penny's to keep and if you found a white penny, you received a brand new back pack plump full of brand new school supplies. All four of the girls found a white penny(thanks to their ultra determined moms.) They all got really nice back packs for school filled with nice supplies and they were pumped. Then, you got to take your penny cup to several booths they had set up where everything cost a penny. The kids could then use the money they just collected in their cups to purchase many more school supplies, candy, photos in an instant photo booth and gumballs. It was so fun for them.
Kasey looking for a white penny.
Kasey after
The girls after they got all their loot.
After we were done, I brought the penny's to the bank to cash them in for the girls and between the two of them, they had $33.

Glad it turned out to be such a great time and that the girls had fun.
