With the seasons slowly changing from Summer to Fall here, and the temperatures starting to drop, we have less time to play outside during the day. I have no other choice than to get creative and find something interesting that we can do inside that will burn up part of the day. I came up with giving the kids a late morning sink bath the other day and both Kelly and Harry enjoyed themselves for over an hour. Jonathan and I have been teased many times for bathing our kids every night and rest assured, I am not adding yet another bath to the daily routine. This had nothing to do with cleaning the kids, but everything to do with playing, splashing, multiple kitchen utensils, kicking and getting most of the kitchen soaked. Like I said before, both kids were in there over an hour and I can't think of one other thing that would keep them both happy simultaneously for that long. I also couldn't help but notice how darn adorable they looked...but then again, I might be biased.

Oh my gosh, what cute pictures of those two and what a good idea!~ - I remember how much you kids also loved sitting in sinks with kitchen spoons and measuring cups too. Another great idea!
