Kasey is six years old today and the poor girl has to spend her birthday staying home sick from school. She is watching "The Wizard of Oz" right now so that makes it a little bit better. We had to re-schedule both of her birthday parties this weekend as the doctor said that she might still be contagious. We re-scheduled them both for next weekend but it was still a bummer. She is looking forward to her parties and also, Granny and Grandpa Maurice are coming into town this weekend and she always likes to spend time with them. I hope that she starts to feel better soon. It's no fun being sick but especially not on your birthday. Happy Birthday big girl!! Six years ago, when you were born, I was really sick with a fever too Lynnie...Hopefully this isn't an ongoing trend on your birthday.

The only good thing about having to cancel the parties is that it's going to be a longer celebration time for you Lou! Hope you start feeling better soon and then we'll party!
