What's for lunch?

WARNING: Extremely gross picture to follow this post. Only proceed if you choose and please don't say I didn't warn you.

I debated over whether or not I wanted to blog what happened today at our house. I finally decided that yes, I would make a post about it only because my primary intention for this blog is to be able to humiliate remind my kids of all the extremely charming things they did while they were young.

Today while I was fixing lunch, I asked Kelly to go into her room and play with her kitchen. I asked her to pretend that she was making me lunch. She has of late figured out how to open our freezer door (it's on the bottom) and she insists on trying to open ice cream sandwiches all day long. She went on her merry way and I could continue to make lunch without having to be the freezer door guard. Probably ten minutes later, I finish and call Kasey and Kelly in for lunch. They both obediently come in, sit at the table and enjoy their lunch. After lunch, it is usually time for Kelly's nap. I get her all taped up (you'll know what that means if you know Kelly) and go to lay her in her crib. By chance, I happened to see smell what Kelly had whipped up for her mama for lunch. What a thoughtful young lady. And no, the mama in question did not have her children wash their hands before lunch today. Can you imagine?!
