Hodge Podge

I have been enjoying an extended hiatus from blogging lately. We haven't really done anything all that exciting or been anywhere too noteworthy. We all have extreme spring fever and can't wait to get outside more. You can only stare at the same four walls so long. My extremely patient mother in law keeps politely requesting pics of the kids so I will see what I can come up with...

Kelly started gymnastics a couple of weeks ago. She is very proud to be in "lim-naslics" and would prefer to wear her bodysuit/leotard instead of regular clothing. She needs an outlet...the little child has more energy than anyone I have ever met. So she learns to perfect somersaults, cartwheels, and jumping on the trampoline.

Our washing machine went out a couple of weeks ago so we finally decided to bite the bullet and get a new one. This involved several trips to huge appliance stores and you would have thought we took the kids to Disney World. They had so much fun playing at these stores. They had rows and rows of every appliance imaginable to roam up and down and they had fun with it. They managed to find a wheel chair in one of the stores and pushed it all around the place. When you can't play outside, you gotta make fun where you find it.

I cut my hair short again and am lovin' it. I had gotten into the "pull it back in a ponytail" phase for too long. It was time.

I screwed up the daylight savings time thing today. I don't watch the news...what can I say?

One of my best friends Meghan had her baby on Friday. He was 8 pounds, 5 ounces and they named him Oliver. They are all doing well and I got to hold him on Friday night. I'm sure there will be pictures of him here soon.

That's all I got for now. I see if I can come up with more soon.
