'Member back in May when Kelly and I went to Disney World? I only posted day one although we were actually there two days. Day two actually was much more enjoyable than the first as we got to go about the day at our own pace. The night we got back late from Disney, I purposely made sure every last shade was pulled as tightly as possible so as to attempt to block any sunlight from coming into our room too early. I wanted Kelly to be able to catch up on her sleep and not wake up at the crack of dawn. I think that we both were able to sleep until 9:30 or so which is good. This second day was supposed to revolve primarily around swimming so Kelly and I suited up and headed down to the free continental breakfast with our towels in tow. After breakfast, we headed to the outdoor pool for a swim. Kelly enjoyed swimming for about fifteen minutes and promptly declared that it was time to go back to the room. Kelly is decisive like that.
After bumming around in our room and the hotel for a bit, we caught a shuttle bus to Downtown Disney. We spent the rest of the day/evening there and had such a good time.
The first place we hit was The Rainforest Cafe. If you are a loyal blog reader, you'll remember Kelly's love/hate relationship with this restaurant that our family just can't seem to get enough of. We got there around 4ish so we had the place practically to ourselves. The hostess was gracious enough to seat us right next to a herd of what seemed to be life size elephants that moved and roared(? is that what noise elephants make?) Kelly was in hysterics in no time. Again, I'm not normally a mom that photographs her scared child while crying but, I couldn't resist.
All in all, Kelly did actually end up enjoying herself. I promise you that if you ask her about her trip to Disney World, the one thing that she is guaranteed to tell you about is the Rainforest Cafe.
After Lunch/Dinner, Kelly and I walked around all of the fun shops in Downtown Disney. There are two of the best toy stores ever there and we spent well over an hour in those. Kelly was in heaven. We made our way over to the outdoor Lego Land area complete with a playground and several pods for kids to build Legos at. To my surprise, Kelly is a Lego girl. She played with them for about an hour that day and has picked up a fondness for them back here at home ever since. Neither of the bigger girls have ever been big on Legos so I just figured they were more a boy toy. Anyway, Kelly built Legos and played on the playground at her own speed and had probably the most fun of the whole trip. Imagine, it was the free part...interesting huh?
After Lego Land, we came upon a group of people that worked for Disney that were hanging out on the boardwalk area dancing and trying to get tourists involved to create some fun. Kelly latched right on to these fun young people. She danced with them, talked on their microphone, and really would have went home with any one of them had I let her. They paid her quite a bit of attention and Kelly ate it right up.
From there, we caught our shuttle bus home and called it a night. We had to be up at 4am to get to the airport for our early morning flight back home. All in all, Kelly and I had a good trip.

Looks like the 2nd day was far more manageable and that you both had a great time. By the way, your two oldest love legos as they spent tons of time working with them and story pretending at the lake last week - TONS OF TIME! I couldn't believe it myself.
First time I looked at your blog since we left home. Kelly is getting to be a big girl. love
Carrie that video of Kelly dancing is hilarious! Me and Veronica were cracking up. That is too cute!
