A couple of weeks ago, all of the women on my mom's side of the family came over to our house and we had a lefse making party. It was my mom, my aunt Jan, sister Lisa, nieces Madison and Emerson, my girls Kylie, Kasey, and Kelly and I. We broke out the flour and made lots-o-lefse. We definitely made a memory!

Lefse!
A old family tradition that I can remember since I was a little girl was having lefse at Thanksgiving and Christmas. My grandma Ione was Norwegian and she would make it along with my mom and my two aunts. We all enjoy having the lefse so it is important to us that we try to keep up with the tradition of making it together so that we can enjoy it on holidays. The process is somewhat tedious and time consuming which explains why it is made only once a year.

Mmmmm, yummy Lefse! I can't figure out how to make it good out here...I think the altitude messes it up!
We should do it more than once a year as it was fun and it was gobbled up faster by the guys (one in particular) than I thought it would be - Apparently, they don't get it often enough. Thanks for letting us trash your kitchen.
Yummy! I remember eating Lefse at your house, yummy!
