My Guys

I've always wanted a son.

Ever since Jonathan and I were first married, I told him that I thought that we would have boys. I've always felt like a boy mom. I'm not much into girly things. I'd rather play cars than barbies. I'd rather buy jeans and a sweater than dresses and tights. You get the point.

Jonathan on the other hand, was always more comfortable with girls. He grew up with four older sisters and no brothers. His beloved dad passed away when he was fifteen. Jonathan has always been surrounded by women. It's in his comfort zone to have girls.

When we found out we were expecting a boy, Jonathan was very nervous. He wasn't quite sure he would know what to do with a boy.

Jonathan replaced all of my glass kitchen cabinet handles the other night. Harry sat by his side the entire time playing with a wrench. I'm pretty sure that Jonathan is figuring out what to do with his boy just fine.

What a great picture of the two guys together - absolutely love it! There's no doubt in my mind they will have plenty to do in the future (and already do too)together.

Doesn't moments like that make you fall in love with Johnathan all over again. Love, love the picture of the two. I sure wish you would have showed a picture of the new handles, just curious.

Carrie, what's your email address? I was trying to send out a email about Christmas...but the destebo@yahoo.com isn't a valid email address.

What a special moment...so glad you captured the memory. This definitely brought a tear to my eye - I can't wait to watch my 'guys' have similar moments together...!
