Daddy Daughter Date

Last week at the last minute, Jonathan got some really good tickets to a noon Twins games. Being that the big girls are at school and Harry is too little to bring yet, Jonathan and Kelly had themselves a middle of the day baseball date. Kells was in all her glory. This is officially the last time that either of them will watch baseball in the "Dome" as next year baseball will be outside where it belongs. I nicely asked Jonathan if he would bring our small camera and get some photos. He is not a "techie" kind of guy and doesn't usually like to take pictures so I was happy he was willing to document their date. I don't think that they made it the entire game but I think Jonathan said they made it to the seventh inning. From the pictures and stories they came home with, I can tell it was a success!

Kelly was able to get her face painted.

Jonathan busted out some unknown photography skills and captured this great photo of the blue "Dome" seats we will all remember. Just like my Dad always told me of baseball games at the "Met Stadium" when he was young, we will tell our kids/grand kids of going to games at the "Dome."

I believe this photo was taken right after Joe Mauer got on base and Jonathan explained that was the guy we named our dog after. I'm sure she was real interested.

I'm glad they were able to go together and have a nice time.

Side note: Harry officially can say "Mama" and "Dada" as of last night before bedtime. He must've read my blog and saw how much it was bugging me that he couldn't say it. :) It is truly music to my ears for now. Probably will be a different story in a month when he learns that he can say it to capture my attention at any time.

How cute is this post and that little Beliose? - How fun for them to have a date and for Jonathan to take the time to bring her to a game. I especially love the seat picture too! Cute, cute, cute!

Yea for Harry !- I knew the words would be coming once everyone was back in school and he could actually have some time to say something - the girls do enough talking for everyone that the poor guy couldn't get a word in if he tried.
