she never disappoints

As always, in true Kasey form, she succeeded in completely embarrassing me today at the Children's Museum.

Here is the gist of a short conversation she had with an older (late 40ish) looking mother this afternoon.

Kasey: Are you his grandma?
Lady: No, I'm his mother.
Kasey: I wish I could go to the museum with my grandma like him.
Lady: I'm not his grandma, I'm his mom.
Kasey: Where's his mom?
Lady: I'm right here, I'm his mom. (Clearly annoyed at this point.)
Kasey: No, you're not his mom...you're too old to be his mom.
Lady: Come along son, lets go to a different exhibit.
Kasey: Bye, have a good day.

Oi vey. Funny, but does this mother/grandmother have no patience if she has children of her own?

hah!! Thanks for the great laugh! I am literally laughing out loud. So funny (and well written). I'd better laugh more quietly...my husband is sleeping beside me!

That's hilarious! Love the new site and I'm looking forward to the introduction of your baby boy. Looks like it will be less than a month! Take care and I'm praying for you.

Oh, that was so funny! Thanks for the great laugh. Yes, kids DO just say what is on their minds, don't they???

Thanks for commenting on my blog...I have enjoyed checking out yours and seeing your adorable girls! How fun that you are having a BOY! It sure is fun to have a boy after having girls (we had two girls and then a boy)!! Yea!! :-)

She wouldn't be Kasey if she didn't say what was on her mind! :)
