Welcome!!!

Thanks for coming on over and checking out my brand new blog site! I had been trying to come up with a brand new name for a couple of weeks to rid my blog of our last name and location. I was digging deep to think of a name with "four" in it representing how many children we have. Four of a Kind...no, that didn't quite work. Four seasons...nope, doesn't apply. Four eyes...no, we have more than that here.

And then, as I was going to sleep the other night, it just came to me. In an instant and I wasn't really even thinking about it. fourgiven...it only makes sense. Not only has God given us four children, even better than that, I am forgiven in Christ.

I use this blog as a modern day "baby book" for my kids. I am in the process of making a book of my last blog on blurb.com and let me tell you, it is a slow process. I hope to print a book every year of these blogs so that someday, when all of my kids are grown, they will have a organized place to look back and read about all of the things that took place when they were small. I already know how fast this time goes and I am so bummed that I didn't know about blogging when Kylie and Kasey were born. So many wonderful moments erased from my memory.

I love reading any and all comments so please, comment away. Sometimes, one of you might have a suggestion for me or a memory of your own to share and I like reading them all.

To give credit where credit is due...I want to thank Jennisa for designing my new blog. I am such a rookie when it comes to computer stuff. She was so great to work with and the design turned out exactly as I had wanted it too. Now, the only thing that will make my new blog even more complete is new pictures for the header once the new baby is born. I already have a photo shoot set up for a couple of weeks after his due date and I am hopeful to get some great shots.
