stayin inside

With it getting closer everyday to the birth of our little boy, I am hoping for a holding pattern. Now, don't get me wrong...I can't wait to meet our little son, tie my own shoes and go more than one hour without having to pee. I'm just hoping that we can make it to my due date of February 14th or later.

A few things need to fall into place before I go into labor. My mom and her husband leave on a week long cruise tomorrow to the Caribbean. She has been in the room for the birth of all three girls to videotape. I really would like her to videotape this one as well so we have to wait until she gets back home on February 3rd. Also, Jonathan's mom and her husband(who live in Colorado,) have their plane tickets booked to arrive on February 15th. It would be ideal if they were here when I went into labor as then I won't have to worry about the girls at all. They would take them to school and keep them on track as much as possible while Jonathan and I go to the hospital. They booked their plane tickets one day after my due date as I have went a couple of days late with all three girls.

Now, this is all in a perfect world. If I were to go earlier, I do have a backup plan for everything. I just hope that he can hang on for the last 20 or so days. Besides, he is better off inside...more time for his lungs to mature, more time to gain weight and more time to avoid the loud volume of his three sisters. We'll just have to wait and see what God has in plan.

He'll probably like the loud volume of his sisters. And besides, I'm sure they'll be in such awe of him that they'll be more quiet than normal

Talk to the little guy and tell him to wait until granny gets there.

4 Things...

1. I totally hear you on the "peeing every hour" thing. That is just plain annoying, isn't it?

2. Don't mention out loud the fact that your mom gets to be in the delivery room with you. Aunt Linny is trying her darndest to get in with us, and keeps using you as an example of what should happen! :)

3. This little boy is not going to be even phased by the noise of his big sisters...he's had 9 months to get used to it!

4. We are just so excited for you guys...we can't wait for our boys to become best friends!
